This research aims to analyze the role played by family care networks in the lives of trans children —within an age range of up to 13 years— situated in the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires (AMBA), from a transfeminist and children's rights perspective. It starts from the recognition that trans people face various forms of social violence that impact their life trajectories, particularly in institutions within the family, educational, and healthcare spheres. The inquiry advances into an area of vacancy in studies on the social realities of this collective, contributing a perspective from the professional role of Social Work. In this context, it examines how care networks can constitute spaces of accompaniment, recognition, and guarantee of rights for trans children.
