Abstract

The increasing complexity of the health-disease-care-attention process (PSEAC) demands interprofessional competencies in postgraduate education. This article describes a collaborative learning experience (January-June 2025) between General Medicine and Veterinary residencies in Florencio Varela. The project, anchored in Spinelli's "health field" concept and "One Health," addressed parasitosis linked to open-air landfills from both professional paradigms, generating promotion and prevention strategies.

Over eight meetings, an interactive workshop was planned and executed in the community, focusing on recycling, animal care, and food handling, fostering community participation. The project evaluation revealed strong collaboration between both disciplines, demonstrating mutual respect, recognition, and appreciation, alongside a notable joint capacity to solve challenges. In essence, this experience highlights the essential role of interdisciplinary training for achieving comprehensive health in complex contexts.
